Thanks for all of your input and excitement in response to this historical NetEvent. SpiritU is the first online dance and cheer campus and was created in response to repeated pleas for help in specific areas. Our instructors are from the tops of their fields and are here to offer you personalized assistance with your own unique needs. Many classes offer essential organizational tools like calendars, constitutions, liability and parental forms, and much more. dTe receives loads of emails daily and cannot possibly assist every needy coach personally, though we'd love to. Nor can dTe afford to list pages suited to every topic while paying the increasing costs to house such a comprehensive library of information. So SpiritU was created as a solution to respond to the most popular requests. The good news is that response has been incredible, so it looks like SpiritU will be sticking around and adding new classes according to demand. We'll be curious to see what other websites will be rushing to copy dTe's newest innovative offering again..

...Of course, these past 6 weeks [of SpiritU classes] have armed me with enough knowledge to approach either the coach or the school depending on the situation and make myself available. It's also given me the courage to do that. The course has been wonderful. I'm glad I took it and need to get back on Leslie's site to get more course information. The nice thing about this is that I don't have to set aside a bulk of time to go to a clinic. Let alone find a coach's clinic which are few and far between if you don't have squads that attend camps. So be sure to thank Leslie for offering this service.

So far I have enjoyed this course. I am a youth coach and frankly am learning alot about coaching at a school which is eventually what I think I'd like to pursue. So it's good to see the perspective of the school side of things. Being a rec league I have been kind of sheltered at all that really goes into coaching. The homework really makes me think and look at the "big picture". It's not just me and a squad, it's how the squad fits into the entire picture of school and what they can contribute and what my responsibilities are in that venue. I am having a blast, even though I've been a little late with homework due to my current coaching responsibilities.

My instructor was very insightful and we had fantastic discussions via the chat room. ...Our discussion times were valuable to me and I appreciated the insight and questions by the instructor. I gained pointers that I will incorporate into my program for years to come. , My instructor was very informed, and we had fantastic discussions concerning many things on dance and cheer. , After coaching for 12 years in various positions, you tend to become in a rut sometimes and value less the reason you are there. It was fantastic to talk to others with new ideas, compare items of interest and get motivated again to pick up the pace and make things more exciting again.

...the course materials in general were excellent. The links to different items relating to the topic were very helpful., The test covered everything covered in the course. The projects (aka homework) were done in a manner to get you to think and really put the whole process of being a good coach to use....I had a direct e-mail access to the instructor if needed so it really wasn't necessary. Although I could see how they would be useful., He is very knowledgeable on the subject. He is also very open when you have questions or concerns. His ability to discuss the topics clearly was clearly., Again, he has been in this field for years and really knows what he is talking about., Topics flowed well and went together well., I am always searching for more information and this class really fit the bill., All in all it was a great class.

Spirit-U is just what I have been looking for !!!!! My husband is a middle school band director and I want to be able to take over the drill and Spirit squad. The director that left did it all and now the girls are left without anyone and the parents have sort of run the program. We know of other husband and wife teams and we have worked together for over 20 years so I know that it is something we can do. I have a dance back ground and really look forward to being a part of Spirit-U. It has been hard to find any of the information that I need to be able to be a drill coach. I enjoy being with the kids and have been heavily involved with the band program for many years.

You just would not believe how happy I was to find a course about color guard. I am very interested in choreography, winterguard and tryouts/auditions. I have been reading all the stuff on dTe until my eyes are crossing. My cousin is the instructor for our cheerleaders and I plan to let her know about the site also. I am so happy to be a part of the first class, it seems very special to part of something so great. I look forward to learning everything I can from the course and being a team learner....I really am looking forward to the class.
