about BOB RIZZO
Bob Rizzo has enjoyed a long-standing career as an international dancer, choreographer and teacher. Every morning, Rizzo got up, put on his dance shoes, and traveled across the world. Everywhere Bob went, the message was the same...the world longed to learn the latest styles and steps coming out of New York. So in 1989, Rizzo accepted the challenge, and founded Riz-Biz Productions. Now, nearly ten years later, Rizzo has succeeded in becoming one of the leading producers of instructional dance videos in the country.
With instruction shown from both front and rear view, Bob Rizzo videos are fun, clear, and easy to follow. It's about time that a single producer has catered to everyone's needs, from beginner dancer to the Broadway star. Bob's choreography has been seen Off-Broadway, on commercials, television, in national tours, workshops, dinner theaters, cruise ships, industrials, and more than one hundred summer stock shows. He has staged shows for such stars as Jane Powell, Ken Berry, Ann Blythe, and most recently, The Pointer Sisters in "Arrow On Broadway." Bob's numerous other credits include numerous business theater shows for corporations such as Panasonic, Sony, Levi's 501, and most recently, the 60th Anniversary television special of "The Guiding Light." He also teaches in the undergraduate program of dance at New York University, as well as professional dance classes throughout the US and Europe.

"My philosophy is to educate our young dancers with artistic choreography using as many techniques as possible. Although I am a jazz dancer, I flavor many of my dances with a variety of cultural overtones to keep my choreography unique and my dancers thinking about how big and wonderful the world is. Although sound technique and a solid curriculum are essential, my greatest joy is giving dancers a sense of artistry and integrity in their repertoire."
