First and foremost, SMILE SMILE SMILE!!! Even if you mess up, showing confidence and a great attitude by smiling can put you back on top! Make sure all of your moves are sharp, no one wants a sluggish cheerleader. Be loud! Don't speak loudly or yell for about a week before tryouts so that your voice will be good. Don't try to sing or scream the cheers, I know that sounds stupid but it can keep you from making the squad. If you have to clap, cup your hands while clapping to make it louder. Stand up straight, keep hair out of your eyes, wear appropriate attire (try the school colors. Don't wear shorts that are TOO short or very low-cut tops, because judges often count off for that). I hope this helps!
Yours truly,

: I really need to prepare for tr-outs becuase I am in junior high and theses are my first tryouts and I am really nervous can anybody give me some tips thank : )
